Solves complex application development problems. Provides technical and administrative direction for personnel performing software development tasks, including the review of work products for correctness, adherence to the design concept and to user standards, and for progress in accordance with schedules. Responsible for developing and implementing applications. Develops plans for software systems from project inception to conclusion. Analyzes the problem and the information to be processed.

Travel and temporary duty to the customer location may be required for the selected candidate

Ability to Obtain Top Secret Clearance required

Basic Qualifications A bachelor's degree in science and technology related programs such as Mathematics, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or related discipline. Must have excellent speaking and writing skills. Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

Desired skills Ability to increase the technical knowledge of the entire program team by sharing operational Minuteman III ICBM experiences with: - Air Force Nuclear Surety and Weapon System Safety Rules (WSSRs) - Vandenberg Air Force Base ICBM test launch operations - ICBM squadron cryptographic code change operations - Organization and utilization of operations and maintenance technical manuals - Development of operational test and evaluations scenarios and automated scripts
